A little about our company – Copa Bar Service is a bar catering company that specializes in craft cocktails and professional bar staffing for events. We work with a lot of wedding couples, venues, corporate clients, and non-profit organizations for their fundraisers. We do our best to be sustainable and use as little plastic as possible. Our work has been published in various bridal magazines and blogs. Copa was born in 2017 and I’m proud to say that we’ve grown every year since.
Part of that growth will be with you joining our team as an office assistant!
Some duties you’ll be asked to do:
-sending and following up on emails
-preparing weekly documents and reports
-social media – scheduling posts
-minor graphic design – creating social media posts, marketing emails, templates for recipe cards-email marketing – compiling the list and scheduling email blasts
-submitting liquor orders
-Requesting reviews from clients
-Basic data analytics. Compiling data into Excel so we can understand where we can improve.

Requirements:
-Generally savvy on the computer. You’ll be invited to our various software and they are pretty intuitive but you will be expected to learn your way around them. (Ex: Pipedrive, Pandadoc, Canva, Slack)
-Experience with Microsoft office
-Some education required. Either completed or working on your degree
What I expect:
-Self starter. I will always be here to help you but you must try and figure it out first. You will be expected to find solutions.
-Respect for others. We are a team and value each other.
-Clocking in/out. If you are ill or cannot work because of some emergency, you must inform me and in some cases, help with a solution to get the work done.
-Bring something to the table. If you have an idea, please tell me! We are always looking for better ways in the process.
-Consistent communication. Each day you’ll report what you worked on, any snags you came across, and if you need anything.
-Urgency. Work needs to be done in a timely manner.
-Accept criticism. As you learn how things are done, I’ll correct you along the way. Never to be negative, always to help you be better.

Details:
-$15/hour to start
-Part-time to start.15-20 hours a week. 3-4 days a week. Flexible hours.
-You’ll be asked to come into the office for your first few days so that I can show you everything in person. Then you are free to work remotely in your pajamas!
