Cordea Consulting Looking for Front End Developer at Austin, TX Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop user interfaces for our web applications. Your primary focus will be implementing and maintaining high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using the latest web technologies. You should be passionate about creating visually appealing and intuitive designs while ensuring excellent user experiences across various platforms and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement user interfaces for web applications, adhering to design guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into functional, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end development trends, techniques, and best practices, and incorporate them into the development process.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure consistency and usability in design and implementation.
• Continuously improve the user interface of existing applications based on user feedback and analytics data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of their respective best practices and browser compatibility.
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and experience in implementing accessible designs.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools.
• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., webpack, npm).
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently on assigned tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
• Understanding of server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile app development (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
