The Role

• Ensure all food preparation is meeting the required hygiene standards and required standards set by the Chef
• Ensure a clean and safe work area, including machinery
• Prepare all food items as per the standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimising wastage
• Work in all areas of our kitchen including but not limited to; Eight Restaurant, In Room Dining, Gardemanger
• Assisting other Chefs when required

Our Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Relevant culinary qualifications would be preferred
• Require Food hygiene certificate
• This role will exceed 20 hours per week, as such student visas will not be considered at this time. Full availability across 7 days is a must.
• A welcoming personality who will naturally share their passion for food with guests
