Position: Devops Engineer
Location: O’Fallon, MO

Job Description

Primary: Build out new Jenkins controllers and agents. 5 controllers in HA pairs (i.e. 10 servers) and approximately 100 agents. Will include install of the Jenkins software, plugins, and additional software dependencies. Working with other teams (via work orders) to provision users, firewall connectivity, etc.
Secondary: Support existing Jenkins instances as needed

Roles and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Jenkins administration (on prem, version ~ 2.289.3)
Knowledge of Chef Infra and/or Chef Habitat to run installation automation
Develop/modify/maintain Chef Infra and/or Chef Habitat cookbooks/scripts to keep up with software demands and pursue its deployment based upon prioritization in timely manner.
Ability to debug existing Jenkins jobs of various types across all controllers
