A Customer Care Specialist (CCS) provides first tier support to all of Symbeo’s business-to-business customer base. A CCS has excellent interpersonal and product support skills. Care specialists research processing questions, provide Business-to-business technical support and support the roll-out of new applications and new products to our customers. Customer Care Specialists interact frequently with customers, and require excellent, clear and concise written and verbal communication.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support for customers and company partners. Core job responsibilities include:

• Interacting with customers via phone, email or a ticketing system to resolve customer concerns
• Diagnosing and providing clear advice on what Symbeo or the customer can do to address the concern
• Identifying software solutions that are available within the product that meet customer needs or solve customer concerns
• Providing timely and accurate customer feedback
• Providing support in the form of procedural documentation
• Logging information about the correspondence into Symbeo’s ticketing system to keep a record of actions
• Analyze processing results and comparing the results to the customers intended result
• Navigating internal databases, spreadsheets and other information sources to support research requests
• Testing and/or evaluating technologies or testing results
• Understanding and communicate product offerings to our customers
• Handle new one-time billings for certain customers
• Providing product training and assistance for customers and partners
• Quality control research and reporting

• Handle customer issues, complaints, etc. in a professional manner

• Provide effective tracking and communication to customers regarding Symbeo services, products, upgrades and changes
• Exhibit exemplary communication skills and provide effective and efficient communication to customers, team, supervisors/management and other impacted parties
• Follow issues/ problems/special projects/assigned tasks to closure or resolution to assure maximum customer satisfaction
• Perform work in a timely manner
• Prioritize work effectively to assure maximum efficiency and productivity as well as quick and timely response to customer issues
• Demonstrate ability to follow direction and retain information while working
• Follow all company rules and procedures
• Exhibits effective and consistent communication to team members, supervisor and other parties. Includes verbal and writing skills, effective and appropriate use of email and other electronic forms of communication
• Demonstrate responsible work habits including maintaining consistent work hours, punctuality, good communication with supervisor and the team. Communicate schedule deviations to supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company business and product information
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILLS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 55 wpm, 9000 ksph
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Superior customer service and problem solving skills
• Excellent phone skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
• Ability to demonstrate responsibility for issue resolution
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

Pay Range: $15.59 – $25.07 per hour
