We are not a management company, all our beautiful apartment homes are built, owned and managed by a local family and a small group of on-site management teams at the center of each of our properties. Summary of Position
We are looking for an on-site resident management team (two people, preferably a married couple) for one of our locally-owned Shoreline apartment home communities. We take providing a great customer experience for our residents seriously, so this position is considered full time for both managers.

Typically, one person will manage the phones, rents and administrative tasks, while the other person will handle the maintenance of the homes and property. The people selected for this position need to be social and become a central part of the community they manage. They will need to balance supporting the happiness and success of their residents with being stern, level headed and enforcing rules when residents step out of line or push boundaries. This is not a 9-5 job; emergencies do not have a schedule and sometime things will come up on nights and weekends. We need people that are happy to respond as issues come up.

– Manage rent collection (including following up on late/delinquent rents, issuing notices, filing evictions)
– Enforce terms of rental agreements and community regulations to ensure a high-quality resident experience
– Keep the property in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition. Exterior and interior inspections of the community on an on-going basis
– Responding to maintenance issues and conducting on-site maintenance
– Clean and maintain community and laundry areas
– Preparing monthly reports and maintaining accurate records
– After-hour maintenance emergency handling/repair arrangement
– Lease apartments as they become available
– Transition apartments as they become open and make them rent ready for the next resident
– Maintenance and apartment leasing training provided for the right couple

Compensation
– $5,000 monthly DOE plus benefits

– Disciplined self-starters with strong time management and prioritization skills
– Well-organized & responsible
– Strong customer service skills
– Must have a vehicle and valid driver license
– General computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and e-mail
– Must undergo a background check
– Must be capable of lifting 50lbs

Preferred

– Basic hand and power tool experience
– Ability to problem solve while working independently
– Positive attitude and a mechanical mindset are more important than experience
