We are looking for a casual administrator to assist our existing Mental Health & Addictions administration workforce. Based at the Tiaho Mai Acute Adult inpatient unit at Middlemore hospital, these positions are “on call” basis, casual roles with no set days/hours and will need to be available at short notice.
The main purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the clinical teams for the day to day running of the wards. Duties include front desk reception, maintaining up to date medical and general records, filing, uploading data, admitting, transferring, discharging service users, maintaining databases, trouble shooting of PC’s, software applications and office equipment, supporting clinical staff and general administration tasks.
To succeed in this role, your computer skills will be top notch and you will have mastered the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Power Point. An understanding of IPMS, HCC and Oracle Procurement will be a definite advantage and allow you to hit the ground running. A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook applications along with good keyboard skills are essential.

The salary for this position is from $54,187 to $60,766 pro-rata (based on 40 hour week), dependent on skills and experience
