The Coventry University Group has a reputation for excellence in teaching and learning. Our Office for Teaching and Learning (OTL) is responsible for education strategy, best practice in teaching and educational innovation and supports all our educational entities in these vital areas. OTL delivers modules and programmes across the group directly to staff and students. The OTL comprises several units, each with responsibility for a specific area.
This is an opportunity to join the Educational Innovation and Technology (EIT) team within the OTL.

Coventry has taken a sector-leading approach to the implementation of learning technology and the development of an Ed-tech ecosystem, implementing a variety of social learning platforms that position student engagement at the heart of the learning experience.
We are seeking to recruit an Educational Innovation Producer, who will use help understand, shape and support change in teaching and learning across the university group. In this role you will work closely with EIT Director, and other key stakeholders including product managers, learning designers and educational technologists to help think outside of the box and enable learners, educators and the organisation dig deeper into problem solving.
As a creative individual you will be familiar with using design thinking and curious to explore the benefits of using this approach within higher education. You will help build the picture of the future of teaching and learning based on the needs, wants, motivations and pain points of our educators and learners. A good understanding of what it takes to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and build strong community engagement is a must.
We are looking for someone who will have a keen desire to learn on the go, be a team player and driven to deliver excellence in all that you do. You will have excellent design skills in digital (visual and web) production, and highly proficient in a range of digital productivity tools which ensure effective and efficient workflows are employed to deliver meaningful outcomes. The ability to see things from the perspective of others and empathise with them, will be a key factor for achieving success in this role.
