Cox Automotive Australia Looking for Valuer (Plant & Machinery) at Wiri, Auckland Full Time

As our Valuer, you will be responsible for developing and performing valuation services for the Manheim Industrial operation in New Zealand.

This role has a competitive salary package including base salary + car allowance & superannuation.

Key position functions & responsibilities:

• Undertake valuations on various plant and machinery asset classes throughout New Zealand
• Build relationship with internal stakeholders and major clients
• Understanding of International Valuation Standards (IVS) reports
• Grow the Manheim Brand in New Zealand
• Communicate with clients, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners in a positive and timely manner
• Experience in providing Heavy Salvage and Pre-Accident Valuations
• Write and prepare in accordance with IVS Standards insightful valuation reports
• Think critically, identify issues and solve problems

What do we need from you?

• ASA, RICS, or New Zealand Property Institute Plant & Machinery qualifications
• Knowledge of the New Zealand Insolvency System
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Outstanding project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise workload to meet expectations
• Competency with Microsoft
• An ability to work as an individual and as part of a broader team
• Strong attention to detail, have a client focus and positive attitude
• Ability to research sales data across a range of industries
