Finance Assistant:

Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant join their Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing matters related to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This critical role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in business analysis and reporting. This role can be completed remotely across Ireland.

Job Description:

· Ensure timely entering and processing of all vendor invoices and expenses using bill.com and expensify for employee expenses

· Manage invoices by verifying transaction information and obtaining authorisation for payment

· Process incoming payments for accounts receivable and reconcile accounts

· Prepare Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances to achieve DSO goals

· Help maintain and implement the best-in-class practices to streamline processes, leverage systems, and identify further process automation opportunities

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Accounting or Finance with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to develop concise and well-organized summaries of complex analyses

• Experience with NetSuite / Bill.com

• Detail oriented, able to execute tasks at hand, and excel at follow-up

• A proactive team player who can also work autonomously

• Proficient with Excel and large-data analysis & reporting
