CPS, Inc. Looking for Fullstack Software Engineer (C#, Python, React). at Chicago, IL Full Time

We are looking for talented engineers who take pride in solving the most challenging problems the fintech world can throw at you. We are seeking software engineers with a background in C#, Python, and React who will play an integral part in the development of various parts of our core financial system that drives our firms success. You will be building systems that will provide our users detailed information on current market conditions, how our systems are performing, and other data provided to varying business units. There will be plenty of Greenfield development in this role – we will looking for people who are creative, visionary, and confident in sharing their ideas.

What we look for in candidates:

• A Computer Science Degree or 2+ years of comparable work experience
• C# and Python. You can be looked at to mentor more junior engineers
• JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML
• You enjoy developing code that is easy to read, not overly complicated, and know the reasons why you do things the way you do
• You can effectively communicate with most anyone – this is not a code in the corner all day position
• A drive to work with other talented engineers and can take feedback without feeling threatened
