Septic Technician

Qualifications

· Experience preferred, not required

· Driver’s license and reliable transportation required

· Ability to operate heavy machinery preferred, not required

· OSSF Maintenance Licensing preferred, not required

Responsibilities

· Work as part of a team to install septic tanks and drain lines for sewage disposal systems

· Reads blueprints to determine location of septic tank and drainpipes

· Diagnose and fix issues with septic tanks, drain fields, and water lines

· Operate heavy machinery

· Install and repair pumps, aerators, and electrical equipment

· Install and repair miscellaneous plumbing

· Communicate professionally and efficiently with customers, vendors, and other staff members

· Work safely and responsibly while completing daily tasks
