Creative Garden Looking for Head Teacher and ECE Teachers at Otahuhu, Auckland Full Time

Creative Garden is an emerging group of centres with existing centres in Waiuku, Papakura, Waterview, and a newly opened purpose-built centre in Otahuhu at 25 Albert Street. The centre has been custom designed to provide beautiful indoor and outdoor areas for children to play, learn and explore the world around them. This state-of-the-art centre is licensed for 60 children with three rooms- Infants, Toddlers and Preschool providing incredible environment for both teachers and children.

We are looking for a highly passionate Head teacher, who is passionate about leading people and working with children. An ideal candidate would have had previous leadership experience who can lead a team of ECE teachers and make a difference to children’s lives. You will be fully supported by Centre Manager who is actively involved in the operation of the centre.

Head Teacher An ideal candidate should have previous leadership experience or be an outstanding teacher ready to step up. You will be fully supported by the Centre Manager and Owners who are actively involved in the business on a day-to-day basis. As a Head teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Manager in the daily operation of the centre which includes leading the team, ensuring systems are followed, building relationships with families and community, and ensuring the delivery of quality education and care for children. A successful candidate must have the following attributes:

*An ECE qualification with current registration.

*Strong leadership and time management skills.

*High level of knowledge in programme planning and assessment

*Ability to build relationship with colleagues, children and families.

*Role model excellent leadership qualities and are able to motivate others

*Have knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s regulations, ECE policies & procedures and implementing Internal and Regular Evaluation within the centre

ECE Teachers As this is a brand new centre, we have several positions available for ECE qualified teachers. A successful candidate should have the following attributes:

*Recognised ECE diploma or degree & Current registration.

*Has a sound knowledge of Te Whariki, the NZ ECE Curriculum

*The ability to record children’s assessment and knowledge around self reviews.

*Able to work collaboratively within an established team.

*Has a warm and approachable attitude that will positively impact staff, children and their families/Whanau.

*Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
