Accounting Clerk

Summary:

CRG recently launched a search for a software company in the Greensboro area. Our client is known for being a certified “Great Place to Work” for over 4 years. As an accounting clerk, you will be responsible for reviewing financial statements and assisting in the collections process to recover overpayments from our clients’ vendors. This position offers stability, opportunity for growth and development, as well as a team-oriented environment!

Opportunity: Contract-Hire, historically they have converted nearly every employee!

Schedule:

• 8-5, Monday – Friday
• Remote (Subject to Change)

Compensation:

• $18.27/ Hour + bonus (OTE around $50,000)
• Pay increase to $19.23 after 90 days of employment based on performance

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Completing resolution overpayment claims through statement audits and accounts payable audits
• Heavily involved in root cause analysis, research, and resolution in relation to each client’s financial statements
• Contacting each client directly to initiate the recovery process and provide updates throughout the audit
• Updating the internal database to ensure accuracy
• Meeting Recovery department metrics while maintaining a positive client relationship

Accounting Clerk Qualifications:

• Fundamental knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with debits and credits
• Strong customer service skills are a MUST
