This post offers the opportunity to develop experience in the Trauma and Orthopaedic specialty in a well-supported and closely supervised environment. The post-holders will be guided through the steps required to produce a systematic review for publication, an audit suitable for regional or national presentation and a research project to generate a presentation for submission to a national or international meeting and publication in a peer reviewed journal. The Fellows will be provided access to the research meeting at South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) which is the UK’s largest orthopaedic outcomes database and guided through the essential statistical methodology for research.
