Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic Associates (CNTA) is currently hiring a full-time receptionist for our growing mental health therapy office in the Somerset area.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A PART OF THE CNTA TEAM

Our team members are compassionate, ensuring the client is their priority by offering a warm, welcoming, and friendly approach at all times. As a CNTA Receptionist, you will:

• Professionally and politely answer phone calls, greet all visitors with a positive attitude, verify visitor information, and ensure their experience from start to finish is top-notch.
• Screens visitors to ensure that they are expected or authorized prior to letting them in to see anyone at the office.
• Perform general office support duties including: copying, filing, mailing and faxing; maintaining office directories and filing systems; managing office supplies.
• Prepare basic correspondence (email, letter, etc.) as directed by appropriate team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the building’s interior by way of dusting, vacuuming, removal of trash, cleaning of restrooms, etc.
• Handle all billing matters swiftly and accurately, collecting copays, and ensuring all patient charges and insurance verifications are complete.
• Walk new referrals through the intake process, schedule patient appointments, place appointment reminder calls, and provide the highest level of service and ethics, genuine compassion, organization, and confidentiality in all transactions.
• Meticulously prepare and maintain patient records while strictly maintaining all HIPAA confidentiality standard.

Requirements to be a receptionist:

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medical billing experience is ideal, but we can train you.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, driving history
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and customer service skills
• Willingness to help others and eager to learn. Positive and compassionate
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment
