CTG is seeking aSoftware Engineerfor our client inMoorestown, New Jersey.

Location: Moorestown, NJ-Remote

Duration: 4 months

Description:

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

In addition to the typical Software Development Activities listed above, the selected candidates primary focus will be to implement replacement assemblies in the Electronic Computer Access Request System (ECARS). ECARS has three .NET assemblies. Selected candidate will need at least intermediate C# .NET assembly development, .NET configuration management, and Amazon applications experience to implement replacement assemblies.

The three assemblies provide:

1. Data and file store management

2. Profile and configuration management

3. HTML rendering

These assemblies use older .NET technologies that need to be updated to support Amazon cloud deployment. File store will need to support S3 file capabilities, configuration/property management needs updating, and newer HTML technologies like responsive HTML 5 and Angular need to be implemented.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group is required.
