The Role
This newly created role further strengthens a hugely experienced and capable Executive Team to help steer this Kiwi business through their next phase of growth.
  
You’ll be accountable for a varied portfolio, dominated by the leadership of the IT Operations teams across infrastructure and support. You’ll work closely with the EGM Digital Transformation to ensure the business is future proofed in its delivery of IT services, as well as proactively managing evolving security and application needs.
  
You’ll also own:

• Acquisitions: from due diligence to integration, as a key element of the growth strategy.
• Facilities: which is material with over 20 offices nationally, and
• Employee Benefits: a fledgling yet high potential customer offering that gives P&L ownership to balance the corporate services focus.

You 
You’ll need the commercial nous to impact business direction as a senior leader, yet the curiosity and hands on style to get personally involved at all levels of the business. Most critical will be the ability to foster trust-based relationships business-wide to embed change or stand up virtual project teams as required. To fit into the high performing executive team, you’ll bring a high level of personal accountability and drive for results and be able to instil this in others.
  
You’ll already be operating at Executive Team level, with prior ownership of IT, and exposure to the insurance sector.
