Cultivate Recruitment Looking for Business Analyst at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

This business is one of the largest employers in Auckland. With a large complex finance team and a recent merger of another large business it’s an exciting time to join them, as they continue to define a new finance structure created around building a centre of excellence within Finance. We are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help support the team.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and expert financial and business analysis on your cost centre and assisting on a range of activities which include monthly reporting, financial and non-financial performance analysis, budgets and forecasts and financial modelling

About You

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent, majoring in Accounting
• Qualified Chartered Accountant or working towards this.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong reconciliations skills
• Experience using ERP system, ideally SAP

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short term contract role with the certainty of getting through the first part of next year. It is expected for this person to start pre Christmas with the business shutting down for two weeks over the Christmas New Year period.
