We are looking for a talented conversion to join our team specializing in sales for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Assists with the maintenance and repairs of plant equipment, buildings and grounds.
Monitors the functioning of building systems including electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), structural, mechanical, fire/life safety, etc.
Leads project management and oversees contractors for moderately complex facilities renovation projects entailing mechanical, structural, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), electrical, production floor arrangement, etc.
Documents repairs and maintenance completed.
Advises technicians and line workers on basic repairs and maintenance requirements.

Facilities Maintenance – Assesses the condition of the facility including its systems, structure, interiors, exteriors and grounds; manages facility operations and maintenance activities; develops and operates asset management systems for Preventative Maintenance’s that uses criticality analysis, predictive tools and prioritization.
Facility Technology Management – Plans, directs and manages facility management business and operational technologies; evaluates, implements and operates integrated workplace management systems; conducts assessments and collaborates on facility management technology needs analysis including audio, visual, and Information Technology capacity and phone systems.
Emergency Preparedness – Plans, manages and supports the site’s emergency preparedness program; identifies risks and develops a risk management plan to address incidents such as power outage, flood, and fire; manages the maintenance of emergency systems for fire and flood protection; reports any system impairments.
Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability – Develops and directs the site’s environmental stewardship using appropriate or recognized sustainability programs.
Facilities Design and Development – Plans and manages the design of facilities considering the requirements and needs of owners and occupants of the facility; manages and supports site construction activities in compliance to building standards.
Project Management – Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a “project”).
Optimizes work processes – Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Experience
Minimal level relevant work experience required.
