The Role

Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Provision of testing and diagnosis services in support of software code and content development activities.
• Ability to create and execute test cases to identify software problems.
• Analyze bugs and errors found during testing.
• Identify, record, document entirely and track incidents/change request.
• Document results of tests for the software development team.
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
• Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.

Skills and Experience

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Familiarity with QA (Quality Assurance) principles and concepts.
• Must be self-sufficient and require limited assistance to perform duties.
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and thoroughly on multiple tasks assigned.
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized, diligent and detailed.
• Successful candidate must have at least 2 years previous experience related to the position.

Nice to have:

• Quality Assurance Certification
• Knowledge related to Canadian Insurance company’s basic definition, rules, and rating.
