CVP is seeking a Manager with experience working with federal agencies as a leader in human capital initiatives as a Program Manager. The ideal candidates will have experience working with federal clients as a delivery leader to implement high visibility initiatives. Subject matter experience with human capital and workforce planning will equip the individual for success in the role.
Scope
The Manager will work with the CVP Team and federal human capital clients to manage priority projects with respect to workforce planning and serve as a workstream lead to a team of consultants executing policy development, operations planning and research, data analytics, and market research to support organizational workforce planning needs. The Manager will provide delivery leadership, client relationship management and financial management expertise to the team. The Manager will work with partner firms to ensure that capabilities of partners are effectively integrated into project delivery, and that all partners and subcontractors deliver quality work products to meet contract objectives.
The Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with clients to manage workforce planning projects and work with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders to execute deliverables
Developing formal project plans with schedules and reporting on statuses
Briefing organizational leadership and delivering monthly and other reports on program status
Developing internal reporting to satisfy internal organizational reporting requirements
Working with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption, and implementation of new workforce planning processes
Designing and implementing best practices, standard operating procedures and tools to improve Program execution
Anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
Managing the workforce planning team’s delivery and ensuring delivery quality
Developing, maintaining, and managing senior client relationships
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in a Human Capital discipline or related field
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Minimum 15 years of professional experience
10 years or more of experience working in a manpower or strategic workforce planning and analysis organization years of professional experience
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task across multiple areas
Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong customer relationship management skills
Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and professional writing skills
​Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a Human Capital discipline or related field
Experience participating in the development of at least one complex organizational design or new departmental stand-up effort
DHS or other Federal Human Capital experience
Management consulting background or experience
