Job Description
The Senior Paralegal will report to the Senior Managing Paralegal and will work closely with the labor and employment law attorneys and other paralegals to manage labor and employment claims and litigation. The Senior Paralegal’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:• Support in-house counsel and outside counsel with monitoring cases, including assisting with the factual development and analysis of matters in a timely and thorough manner• Gather and timely submit factual information and HR records related to employment claims and litigation; regularly inform in-house and outside counsel about important dates and deadlines • Draft and edit legal correspondence and documents, including but not limited to litigation hold notices and responses to claims• Regularly update legal databases, monitor, and track the status of cases and important deadlines (e.g., discovery, mediations, arbitrations, etc.)• Manage wage claims filed at state Departments of Labor, including but not limited to, fact and document gathering, assessing validity, draft and submit responses, defend the company by attending tele-conferences and stating the company’s position, negotiate settlements with the agency or directly with the claimant • Draft reports and presentations; and assist with trend analyses for stakeholders; and• Conduct legal research
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of relevant labor and employment law experience at a law firm or in-house legal department• Bachelor’s degree required

As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details to manage multiple projects with varying completion dates• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; confidence working with, and learning, other applications, and tools• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills• Collaborative and engaged team player• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive employment matters• Paralegal Certificate Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree required• Paralegal Certificate Preferred
