We are a rapidly growing type of company that specializes in Real Estate for retail and healthcare industries (essential businesses). We currently have over $4.6 billion in assets under management, diversified across more than 1,000 properties, over 18 million square feet, and throughout 44 states.
Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring a Remote Windows Server Administrator who is open to occasional travel to Pasadena, CA, Coeur dAlene, ID or Johnston, IA. This role will be in charge of designing, installing, administering, and optimizing all of our servers. This individual will support and serve end-users as needed to solve issues end users may be experiencing relating to internal IT infrastructure.
The Windows Server Admin will be working closely with the Sr. Systems Engineer and Sr. Data Engineer to identify the scope of projects that serve the needs of the business, track progress on projects, and communicate to stakeholders as updates and milestones come up.
What You Will Be Doing
- Keep all servers in good working order
- Ensure all internal servers are in compliance with backup and upgrade schedules
- Prepare and implement disaster recovery protocols
- Monitor and resolve server performance events
- Manage Active Directory environment
- Assist with documentation of IT infrastructure and processes
- Manager Group Policy Objects (GPO) throughout the AD
- Plan and build out resources when needed
- Assist with Tier II and Tier III as needed
What You Need for this Position
- 3+ years with Windows Servers
- Azure Active Directory is a plus
- Solarwinds is a plus
- Managing virtual server resources
- Designing, deploying, and managing Active Directory environments with multiple OU’s
- Leveraging Powershell to manage and roll out changes across the domain
- Windows Certification is a plus
- VMware experience is a plus
