Rates: $100 – $130 per hour (inc. super)
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support the modernisation of the Full Carbon Accounting Model (FullCAM) system and associated applications. The successful applicant will work in a cross-disciplinary team and work on both externally and internally faced applications. The role includes (but not limited to) developing APIs to support web development, CICD implementations, configuring b2c azure registration, building Front-End UI using angular, improving quality of existing code, and optimizing it for the cloud environment.
Skills required:
- Tertiary qualification in computer science and at least 5 years of recent full stack development expertise in fast paced development environment.
- Expertise in building Integration modules with full-stack development skills in ASP .Net, REST, C# and VC++.
- Solid expertise in developing APIs, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, utilising B2C as well as Front – end development using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and server-side languages such as ASP .Net, Python, Java.
- Demonstrated ability to optimise code for Azure Cloud environments especially in communicating with Blob storage, Cosmos DB, file servers and Sql Servers.
- Ability to build analytical solutions and models by manipulating large data sets.
- Strong expertise with developing Database scripts, Intelligent Analytics and stored procedures.
- High level of self motivation and ability to work in a combination of agile and waterfall systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Essential Criteria
- Extensive C++ and C# coding skills and SQL scripting skills. Including demonstrated experience developing APIs, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, utilising B2C and modernising legacy code
- Demonstrated recent Front – end development skills using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and proficiency with languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Extensive experience optimising existing legacy coding to Cloud environments, especially in communicating with Blob storage, Cosmos DB and Sql Server.
- Ability to work/communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and with stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes
- High quality coding standards and documentation
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with High Process Cluster (HPC) computing, Microsoft SSAS and analysis cubes would be advantageous.
- Experience with utilising Geospatial data (eg data arrays, complex 3D arrays) in applications
