D1 Training is in need of a high energy, enthusiastic person to join our team. The Front Desk/Recruiter position is very important as it is the first and last employee to engage with our customers & members every time they visit. This role is designed to provide a welcoming introduction to each person who walks into our D1 facility. As a Front Desk/Recruiter associate you will answer customer service related questions, keep track of who is coming in and out of the facility, and assist with the operations of the business.
This position involves taking incoming calls, making outgoing calls, booking free trial workouts and consultations, and selling all D1 products and services.
As a Recuiter, you MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN A FAST-PACED SALES ENVIRONMENT. Recruiters are responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively. Must be a self-motivated, team oriented person with a passion for sports/fitness.
You must be willing to greet people by name every day and must show your excitement to see our members. We want each person who walks into the D1 facility to not see us as a “gym” but instead as a fun family full of people who are excited to be there.
This role is vital to the success of our company and is a stepping stone into other positions within our organization.

FRONT DESK/RECRUITER JOB PURPOSE & GOAL:
The purpose of the Front Desk employee is six-fold: 1) provide the best welcoming introduction to each person which walks into our D1 facility, 2) answer customer service-related questions, 3) keep track of whom is arriving/leaving our facility, 4) confirm appointments for existing clients and appointments for existing visitors, 5) assist with the operations of the business, and 6) nurture leads and set free workout appointments and/or consultations when not in a sales appointment. The goals of the Front Desk role are to: 1) deliver the best front line customer experience at D1, 2) demonstrate high energy & passion to serve our athletes, 3) be able to multi-task & manage your schedule to accomplish daily objectives, and 4) be selfless and willing to set appointments for the General Manager for the greater good of D1 Malvern.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the General Manager.
FRONT DESK/RECRUITER JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Front Desk role, being very important as it is the first and last employee to engage with our prospects & members every time the visit, supports the General Manager in creating a D1 environment which motivates and inspires all to be their best and achieve their goals (https://youtu.be/faCERZHW8iE).
2. Show rate: 60% of scheduled appointments on first time visits which show ($200 monthly bonus) – required metric.
3. Ensure attendance is 100% accurate in all scheduled workouts and appointments.
4. Confirm all appointments for existing clients.
5. Collect accurate contact information when communicating with any prospect.
6. Never give out pricing over the phone.
7. Answer the phone 100% of the time with the correct greeting.
8. Manage general maintenance of information in Mindbody (updating payment methods, ensuring member information is accurate & up to date, etc.).
9. Complete all daily checklist items to include but not limited to: keeping the facility organized, restrooms clean & stocked, food/drinks/products stocked, walking the turf/weight room area to verify it is tidy (no trash, Coach materials, personal belongings; vacuum weight room area).
10. Assist the General Manager with all prospects to close sales.
11. Must have and perform all four (4) core values (listed below).

8. Operations – Assist the General Manager and Coaches help athletes meet their goals, assist in problem solving, etc., know & understand key metrics, marketing, systems.
9. High degree of self-discipline (preparation, tasks/routine oriented, attitude, staying on course, etc.), and motivation.
10. Professional demeanor (respectful, courteous, has desire to learn, constantly self-improving).
11. Fitness – Passion for and understanding of fitness.
12. Required to be fit-for-duty which includes not being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. This includes any drugs that might impact an employee’s ability to safely perform their job.
