Dahua Security Hiring for Territory Account Representative (Jr Sales) – South Central at Houston, TX Full Time

What you will be doing:

As a Territory Account Representative (TAR), you are accountable for being the face of Dahua by building relationships with authorized distributors within your territory. Your role will be to visit them on a regular basis, conduct product trainings, answer any questions about our products, and drive more products in the channel. You will also be required to attend all local events in your assigned territory including all distributor tradeshows as deemed necessary.

Your territory coverage:

Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas

What your primary responsibilities will be:

• Increase sales of Dahua branded products at assigned distribution locations and increase 2/3 star Dahua All-Star partners
• Must travel to and focus on assigned distribution locations within the region
• Develop relationships with in the distribution branches, educating on current Dahua programs & promotions and driving for ”more stock on the shelves”
• Conduct product trainings to both distributors and 2/3 star Dahua All-Star Partners
• Attend and setup all local events delivering the “Dahua message”
• Evaluate focus accounts and find new strategies to increase growth in the territory
• Must travel at a minimum of 40% of the time in assigned territory

What you will need:

• 2+ years of experience in the Security/Video Surveillance industry or related industry preferred
• Minimum 2 years college
• Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Excellent organizational and computer skills including computer fluency in MS Office

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work related machinery
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
• Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
• May be required to travel up to 50% of the time dependent on the role
