Description
- Ensure that documents, including reports, applications. State and Federal mandated evaluations, department-related documents, board documents, sanctions and appeals are filed with the State Office for School Accountability in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide regular feedback to the director of Federal and State Accountability regarding the status of federal and state accountability processes, sanctions, and procedures.
- Assist in the processing of documents pertaining to state and federal accountability and adhere to guidelines and timelines for completion.
- Ensure timely notification of department staff regarding issues relating to federal and state accountability policies, procedures, and practices.
- Maintain daily attendance records and submit monthly payroll on Oracle.
- Prepare requisitions for the purchase of office materials, monitor available funds, verify the receipt of materials and generate budget reports as requested.
- Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages and route calls to appropriate staff and provide general information to employees, parents and the public.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency; Associate’s degree from an accredited university, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
- Demonstrated proficient in keyboarding/word processing, spreadsheets and file maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels of district personnel and the public.
