This is a fully remote position that can be located anywhere in the US, but must be located near a major airport. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available. This position will travel throughout the United States up to 25%.

About the role
This specialist will guide the commercial team on tank scope, design, fittings and our approval process. We will rely on this person to collaborate with internal teams and with tank vendors, evaluating new vendors or products! Operate in a cross functional team environment to write or revise standards for tank applications. Provide audit support for all tanks used by ChemTreat commercial team.
Act as a technical resource for tanks, performing audits and providing information and quotations, as well as material compatibility
Assist with specification of tanks, including scope, design and our internal approval process. Enter information into internal tank database
Maintain relationships with vendors
Assist with requests in group email box
Use and maintain company equipment in good, clean condition
Are you qualified?
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with 5-7 years demonstrated ability in the field; or 7-10 years proven experience in lieu of degree
Experience in water treatment equipment or related area such as chemical storage tanks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent skills
Strong track record of using materials compatibility charts
The salary range for this role is $80,000- $85,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
