The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.
This position is part of the Service Organization in Memphis, TN and will be remote, traveling a territory in and around the Memphis area. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Area Service Manager responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Install, repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Review solutions with customers; discuss needs and ensure a safe operation situation.
Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.
Develop positive partnerships with Sales personnel to aid in anticipating potential customer issues and uncover additional selling opportunities in accounts.
Attend and participate in sales presentations within your own region.
The essential requirements of the job include
One-year FSE or related experience – prefer medical field
AS – Technical Associates Degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or Military experience
Basic troubleshooting experience in: Electromechanical, Networking or IT system upgrades.
Ability to travel at least 50% ( provid ing service in an assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas / overnight ). Have a current driver’s license and a clean driving record for the last 3 yrs., moves equipment up to 50 pounds.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.
Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.
