Job Description

Danfoss is seeking an Accounts Receivable Credit Analyst based in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. Working within Global Services North America Credit and Accounts Receivable team, the Credit Analyst performs collection activities and maintains analysis to support the open accounts receivable of the general ledger in maximizing sales and minimizing risk. It will also require working with credit management to recommend increases or decreases in credit limits according to the sales volume changes, financial results and cash flow of the customer.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Collecting from customers within the agreed terms of sale
• Evaluating customers’ credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk
• Negotiating on method and frequency of payments
• Decision making with Sales and Marketing on shipping
• Analyzing of financial data using MS Office tools
• Developing and preparing spreadsheets and models to support analysis
• Using Business Intelligence for reporting from SAP system
• Understanding and correcting billing errors
• Issuing miscellaneous and corrective billing
• Facilitating debit memo resolution with customers
• Setting up and updating finance side of customer master for new and existing customers
• Problem solving
• Business partnering with other functions within Quote to Cash to achieve company goals
• Month End Reporting on key metrics

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Advanced English is needed (this position has interaction with a team based in the US)
• Strong attention to details and ability to notice discrepancies in data
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Multitasking and prioritization skills
• Analytical as well as judgement and decision making skills
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
• Strong proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to travel (minimal)
