Danone Looking for Human Resource Business Partner at New Zealand Full Time

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic HR professional; to join our talented HR team in Auckland. As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will support Danone in the achievement of its business goals through the design and delivery of human resources interventions that support the business vision and strategy.

As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with the leadership and HR team and support facilitating key initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups with a strong focus on business fundamentals. You will effectively partner with the business and build on the culture of people focus, effective leadership, and growth.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Design, plan and implement with the continuous improvement mindset HR Policies and Procedures in line with relevant legislation, Danone policy, and HR best practices
• Partner with managers to support through all aspects of the employee life cycle to provide all Danoners an engaging and great place to grow
• Develop people management capabilities of Line Managers through ongoing coaching, particularly in relation to organisational development and driving a positive and a high-performance culture
• Support managers with talent sourcing, identification, and coaching them and their teams on these processes
• Facilitate Annual Salary Review (ASR), bonus discussions, and advise on salary decisions for new hires and internal appointments
• Delivery on a local level of various regional and global human resources initiatives. This may include training, facilitation, and running workshops

About you

You are an energetic, proactive, and experienced HR professional who works with resilience and immense passion to achieve great things. Your prior experience in a fast-paced organisation, stakeholder engagement, business partnering, and implementing engagement initiatives will be an advantage. You have a natural flair for connecting with people, building relations, and working collaboratively to achieve business goals. Above all, you enjoy taking ownership & responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility & pragmatism.

Ideally, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
• Prior experience in a generalist role with NZ employee relations/industrial relations and compensation & benefits is preferred
• FMCG/Manufacturing industry experience desirable but not essential
• Confidence to challenge the status quo and make tough decisions to achieve the best possible outcome
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Sound IT skills, digital mindset, and efficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to develop internal and external relationships
• Ability to manage several competing priorities and handle ambiguity
