Danone Looking for Production 2IC – Night Shift at East Tamaki, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

ABOUT THE JOB

Two fantastic opportunities have opened up for two Production 2ICs to join our large Manufacturing family!

These are permanent full-time opportunities with working hours between 545pm and 600am (Night Shift) or 545am and 600pm (Day Shift) with the main purpose of supporting the Production Shift Manager (PSM) in the day to day running of production within the plant.

You will

• Work closely with all departments, use internal processes to provide cohesive, consistent and incisive guidance in support of Production activities
• Ensure a very solid execution of planned stops such as Line internal cleanings, Trials and Preventive maintenance
• Work in conjunction with PSM to ensure all training content are up-to-date, detect and close training gaps on production operators
• Demonstrate leadership skills – run daily meetings, lead and direct the team in absence of the PSM
• Identify improvement opportunities and work closely with other areas to solve them permanently
• Ensure that Critical Forms/Logs/Shift Reports are accurate and compliant

About you

About You

To be successful you will have

• Solid Production experience in manufacturing/FMCG industry, Engineering background is advantageous
• Exposure to lean manufacturing and strong knowledge in operational efficiency
• Ability to work and communicate with people at all levels
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, time-pressured and changing environment
• Computer literacy and an innate drive for growth and development
