Dart Container Hiring for Lead Endpoint Platform Engineer at Mason, Michigan Full Time

You’ll work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site at our corporate office
in Mason, Michigan, and up to 2 days remote.

The Lead Endpoint Platform Engineer will lead and contribute to the
team’s efforts in building, testing, deployments, as well as
maintaining solutions to manage a fleet of “clients”, or endpoints, at
enterprise scale. The Lead Endpoint Platform Engineer acts as a
technical subject matter expert, mentor and technical liaison for
Endpoint Platform Engineering infrastructure and ITOS initiatives.

What you’ll do:
Ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner, delivering
excellent customer service
Perform problem analysis and provide solutions and recommendations to
manager for technical issues that affect user experiences
Lead Endpoint Platform Engineer projects in coordination with the
information technology department and the project management office
Accurately document incidents, processes, procedures, and user guides
Produce and delegate project plans and root cause analysis documents
Mentor team in the use of ITIL change and incident management processes
Work with the support teams to develop and optimize OS deployment and
automated build processes and deployment
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to configuration,
processes, disaster recovery, and service
Evaluate new end point platform technologies that support Dart’s long
term strategic needs while maintaining an unbiased view of all
technology providers
Assist with development of the long-term strategy and vision work
efforts focused on Dart’s end point platform needs
Create, deploy, troubleshoot and support MSI, EXE, scripted and other
types of automated application and patch installations
Provide advance application and deployment support and troubleshooting
Assist in deployments, software upgrades, and significant operational
initiatives, including migrations of end user workstations from
Enterprise Tools
Develop policies, processes, and procedures as it pertains to the use of
EndPoint Management within an enterprise environment
Peer review and provide feedback relative to best practices and
improving performance
Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and recommend
solutions as required
Train and act as an escalation point for Service Desk and Site Support
personnel
Work on endpoint image builds and maintenance
Continue to improve and scale the existing endpoint platforms
Collaborate with I.T. Security to establish and implement end user
security settings
Collaborate with support teams to develop and optimize OS deployment and
automated build processes
Diagnose endpoint deployment issues and perform root cause analysis
Monitor the performance of managed systems, take appropriate action for
critical issues and develop long term recommendations for recurring
issues

What you’ll need to qualify:
The idealLead Endpoint Platform Engineermust possess all of the
following:
Requires one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree required; an emphasis in computer science,
information systems, or related field of study preferred, and four (4)
years of endpoint platform or related technology experience, OR
Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related
field of study and six (6) years of endpoint platform or related
technology experience, OR
High school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of endpoint
platform or related technology experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Five (5) years of current Windows Desktop Operating Systems and
technologies experience
Three (3) years of experience with the following:
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Policy-based configuration management (Intune/GPO)
Endpoint Security (Bitlocker, Defender, AIP, MBAM)
Windows Virtual Desktop, VDI (VMware / Citrix) creat
