DataArt Hiring for Java Engineer, Travel-Tech Solutions Job at Buenos Aires Full Time
About the vacancy
Our client is a US-based travel-tech company that provides a booking engine. They create custom travel booking software for some of the largest brands in travel and financial services. The team is working on the development of the new cloud-based search and booking platform featuring hotel reservations, ground transportation, flights, and ancillary travel product using modern best practices.
We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications
- Excellent knowledge of Java
- Expertise in building microservices / REST APIs in Java, Spring Boot
- Experience with basic AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
- Experienced team worker in SCRUM teams
- Spoken English
Additional Competencies
- Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes
- Experience with Java build and packaging, unit testing tools, Maven, Junit, and Mockito
