C# .Net Senior Developer Front-office Trading and/or Risk

Details:

• Rate: $950 – $1000/per day based on 9 hour day
• Health/Vision/Dental benefits available for W2 Consultants
• Location: Hybrid, on-site midtown NYC (local candidates only)
• Duration: 1+ years

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Work with technology and business partners throughout the firm.
• Be self-motivated.
• Have a programming/application development background.

Possess industry knowledge of:

• Loanet
• Equilend
• SmartLoan
• Equity repo and triparty repos.

Candidate should have strong knowledge of:

• Microsoft based C# programming. Visual Studio and experience with TFS.
• WPF development.
• Windows services and WCF.
• Databases, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products
• Understanding of message queues and middleware.
• Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Portfolio and total return swaps in an equities environment, supporting traders, operations, and middle office.

Plusses include:

• Prime brokerage experience.
• Synthetic prime and/or equity swaps experience.
• Other front office, back office, risk management and trading technologies are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $900.00 – $1,000.00 per day
