An insight to the role

• Working closely with and reporting to our GM Commercial ANZ with a dotted line to our Global HR Director (based in the Netherlands), you’ll partner with our leaders, supporting and delivering to all HR functions
• Leadership – Support, coach and grow a team of two, including HR Advisor and Senior Payroll Administrator
• Actively engage, collaborate and support our leaders across the region to develop and deliver various HR initiatives, both to shape and support existing as well as implementing new ideas and bringing these to life
• Talent Management – drive our 9 Box talent management programme with leaders; follow up, provide support and guidance to effectively manage this programme and deliver career path planning initiatives
• Recruitment – effectively manage hands on end to end recruitment processes as and when required and work alongside local management to support and drive recruitment activity whilst ensuring internal talent are recognised and considered through these processes in recognition of career path plans
• Lead the Peers Rewards and Recognition Programme across ANZ – present the awards to our team members that we are celebrating, at quarterly business briefings
• Assist in celebrating and recognising our people whether it be their birthday, a special occasion or successes
• Support the Senior Payroll Administrator with NZ & Australian payroll activities and oversee the outsourcing of this function
• Performance Management – utilising our global performance management system and procedures, drive, assist and coach management for quarterly and yearly processes and provide constructive feedback
• Learning and Development – work with Leaders to understand the needs of the people in their teams and support in organising either with external education providers or delivery of internal training
• Support the yearly budget process working with various internal teams to deliver the required data and reporting for the region regarding our people to HQ – Instil discipline and process across various and regular occurring projects
• Guide, advise and coach our leaders on legal matters and protocols pertaining to performance improvement disciplinary processes and other legal matters – with the support of our external provider when required
• HR policies – Ensure all contracts, policies and HR systems comply with relevant NZ and Australian legislation & assist and coach line management on the implementation and interpretation of HR policies

• Proven HR experience in a similar role (5 years + ideal) – you may have worked across all of the areas this role is responsible for, or perhaps just some areas and you are looking for career growth and development and you know you’re ready to step up for the challenge!
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
• Well versed in local HR practices & employment legislation – NZ essential and Australia a bonus, however this can be learned
• Recognised for achieving results through promoting a collaborative and engaging team culture, you are an energetic, go getter, highly capable of interacting at all levels & dealing with difficult situations in a positive manner
• Analytical & numeric skills & previous experience working with HR & Payroll systems (ideally SAGE People)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Excel
