As a Software Engineer in Application Support you will solve issues for our clients and our services organization through tool development and engineering solutions. This role has a strong focus on rapid prototyping and developing one-off solutions using RESTful API architecture and creative problem solving. Application Support is a team of creative, innovative problem solvers who drive solutions and improvements in the product for our customers.

Preferred location is Minneapolis, MN but open to US remote within CST/EST.

Essential Duties

• Work within the Application Support Development team in an Agile Methodology to automate or create solutions for use by internal teams.
• Prototype tools for internal stakeholders such as Service and Sales
• Troubleshoot and solve complex product and configuration issues.
• Provide Rapid fixes, scripts, and solutions across the product stack
• Work across engineering teams
• Facilitate collaboration and communication between team members, internal departments and clients.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

We are looking for a combination of these Technical Abilities:

• Experience with Java Spring Boot, Angular, React, Python, among other modern languages
• SQL and DBA Systems Experience (MongoDB Preferred)
• Cloud Computing Experience (Azure, AWS, etc)
• Big Data and Data Analytic tools and design
• Experience with Rapid Tool development a plus
• Cross functional experience with technical and non-technical stakeholders a plus

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• 2+ years professional experience in a software or IT environment.
