DataStaff, Inc. Hiring for Mailroom Clerk at Rensselaer, NY Full Time

DataStaff is in immediate need of Mailroom Clerks for contract to hire opportunitieswith one of our direct clients located in the Rensselaer, NY area.

This position will require compliance with any COVID-19 vaccination policies that are promulgated by DataStaff, Inc.’s client and/or state, and local laws.

Available shifts are:

• Third shift; Monday – Friday from 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
• There is a 2-week training period with first shift hours (7:45 AM – 4:15 PM), must be able to train during the first shift hours.

SUMMARY:

This position requires someone with warehouse and/or mailroom experience, can stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as well as operate Xerox printers and Pitney Bowes automated envelope inserting equipment.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Organize the workflow of assigned tasks for the clerks
• Assist with training entry level staff on the Print Equipment, procedures of this equipment, and job functions
• Give regular feedback to the Lead Distribution clerk and Supervisor regarding work progress or issues
• Maintain production standards of assigned tasks
• Train on inserting equipment following processes and procedures to maintain accurate output
• Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of assigned work areas
• Place service calls for malfunctioning equipment Perform the duties of the Distribution clerk
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have warehouse and/or mailroom experience
• Candidate can stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Be able to operate Xerox printers and Pitney Bowes automated envelope inserting equipment
