Project Administrator (Site)
Background:
Davco is an industrial construction company building projects across Western Canada. We build these projects with our staff of Welders, Pipefitters, Insulators, Labourers, and Crane Operators. The trades workers are supported by a project management team including Project Managers, Superintendents, QC inspectors, Safety Coordinators, and administrators.
Job Posting:
The Project Administrator is part of the construction project management team. They are responsible for recording the activities of the labour, equipment, and materials of a project. They process these records to ensure that our workers get paid and work gets invoiced to the client. They track budgets and project statistics. They assist the project team in the preparation of reports and other administrative tasks.
Skills:
The successful candidate must have good computer skills and show proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, excel, and outlook. Davco will provide training on our specific time recording software. The candidate should have basic knowledge of billing, timekeeping, and administrative practices. They must be able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Start date & work location:
The work is on a project worksite near Edam, SK. Hours of work on-site are 6:30am to 6:00pm. Transportation is available from North Battleford, SK or Lloydminster, AB/SK.
Training in the Wainwright office the week of January 9th. Starting on-site with a 9 day on, 5 day off shift beginning January 17th. Hours of work and shift schedule may change depending on project requirements.
