The role is responsible for planning and schedulingprogram activities and milestones, defining resourcing capability andlevels, overseeing program/project budgets, risk and issue management,and providing communications for multiple levels of the organization,including Executive Leadership.The Program Manager is responsible for development, planning, andexecution of highly complex technical programs consisting of multiplesub-projects and high program budget. The portfolio management expectationrequires cross functional organization of multimillion dollar budgets inforecasting and actuals tracking. The program focus of the role assumesresponsibility for all aspects of successfully delivering the agreed scope ofwork and driving projects to completion, and is expected to possess bothtechnical and business acumen.RESPONSIBILITIESProgram management and oversight:Partners with Product and IT Leadership defining roadmap and understandingcapacity demandsLeads, plans, schedules, tracks, and manages program deliverables,goals, and milestones and other “success” criteria; adjusts programplans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirementsFacilitates the capturing and prioritization of program requirements includingpeople, process and technology dependencies; defines and manages program scopeDevelops and executes program stakeholder management plan, including rolesand responsibilities; understands and ensures compliance with variousgovernance structures in placeActing as key contact for program stakeholders; Liaising with keystakeholders to understand program demand and working with PMO leadership tocreate appropriate resource plansDriving all PMO & Agile processes and standards within the programPortfolio ManagementCreates and maintains year over year budget with IT, Business, andFinancial LeadershipFinancial Forecasting in partnership with cross collaborative inputsActuals tracking and EAC ProjectionsVendor tracking and invoicingExecutive reporting & communication – prepares and delivers engaging,informative, and well-organized presentations to executive and other audiencesEXPERIENCEExperience using PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) toolExperience leading cross-functional, matrixed project teamsAbility to build strong relationships across multiple lines of business3+ years of experience managing multimillion dollar budgets8-10 years of Project Management / Portfolio Management Experience (Preferred)CERTIFICATIONSProject Management Professional Accreditation (Preferred)Agile Certifications (Preferred)At DaVita, we strive to be a community first and a company second.
