About the Role

Senior Analyst Administration
Full-time
Somerville, NB

The Senior Analyst – Administration is a key member of shared services and will be responsible to perform the necessary revenue assurance tests to ensuring that revenue is accurate and complete. This includes reconciling the operation and the financial systems. The person will be responsible to work closely with operations and finance to determine business drivers and then develop and communicate the strategy to ensure issues are resolved. This position is part of a team that is charged with meeting/exceeding all service level agreement standards while promoting a positive and collaborative environment. This position will maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement, waste elimination and providing best in class customer service (internal/external).

How You’ll Help

• Working with the leadership team to determine critical business drivers and then improve the necessary reconciliation reporting processes.
• Coordinate with IT to develop requirements, test and implement reports.
• Facilitate meeting with operations to ensure billing can be done in the most efficient time.
• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders across all business functions ensuring the alignment of key business objectives and optimizing our efforts towards a shared corporate goal.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with our Internal and external Partner (s). Ensure their efforts are focused and they are supporting our objectives.
• Communicate and implement changing policy directives.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in business/commerce or related education with at least two years of work experience in related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in a shared services environment would be an asset.
• Experience in the transportation industry an asset.
• Ability to combine technical understanding with report building skills to produce effective reports.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, processes, and procedures.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong working knowledge, skills, and ability to become proficient in corporate reporting tools including Power BI, and Fusion.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and respond to change.
• Excellent communication & influencing skills with an ability to engage business partners to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Able and willing to collaborate in a team environment and exercise independent judgment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of database platforms, database design, and experience using structure query language to access and analyze data sets is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
