Based at our Support Office in Otahuhu, we have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our friendly Finance team. Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the validation and administration of processing supplier invoices, staff expenses, reconciliation of supplier accounts, timely payment of invoices and the resolution of supplier queries. It’s a busy role with lots of data entry, requiring (as you’d imagine) a high level of organisation and attention to detail, but also a very strong customer service ethic that drives you to deliver on requests and expectations and act as an ambassador for DB internally and externally. Our Finance team work and partner with people right across the organisation, and your role is no different… you’ll be a good communicator who takes a responsive approach to queries and issues.
Your success in this role will hinge on previous experience in accounts payable administration and strong Excel skills. If you’re familiar with SAP, that’d be great, but isn’t essential. More important is your understanding of AP, your attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure and desire to do a great job.
