Your tasks
Role Overview
- To ensure that the Airfreight service delivered, meets and exceeds customer expectations, is in accordance with established service levels/SOPS’s and is within Revenue & Cost parameters. Ensure that all associated administrative requirements are complete and accurate. Proactively support and contribute to the achievement of Departmental, Branch and Company goals and objectives.
- Hours are 0900 – 1730
- Hybrid working role
What will you be doing?
- Have good product knowledge and be able to provide appropriate pricing and rates by dealing with the Airlines and Service Providers.
- Generate timely and accurate Sales invoices and timely process of costs (purchase invoices).
- Running of Customer Bulk Invoices at month end close out
- Review Cass Statement monthly
- Assume the responsibility of Security as outlined in the company Air Cargo Security Programme.
- Develop a closer working relationship with our customers and develop an understanding of their needs and how we can meet and exceed their expectations and secure their future support to allow all staff members contribute to the overall Sales effort within the company.
- Understand our Customer Requirements and ensure the delivery of first class Customer Service.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company standards.
Requirements
About you
- You are an excellent communicator who is enthusiastic and patient with a flexible “can-do” attitude.
- You will require a solid understanding of Health and Safety laws, regulations and policies.
- Both Import & Export experience.
- Experience in other channels.
