Your tasks
Role Overview
- This is an exciting opportunity where you would be responsible for providing strong leadership for the performance of the day-to-day operation of the Customs Brokerage team, supporting the team with general enquires and work with the Team Leader to ensure daily goals are met and we are maximising the performance of the teams and operating productively and efficiently, meeting the business needs and improving processes as the department evolves.
- Hours are 0900 – 1730
- Hybrid working role
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the Team Leader with management and development of staff / arranging the necessary workloads. To manage the team when the Team Leader is off due to holiday or sickness.
- Ensure all queries and complaints are investigated and responded to promptly, both from external and internal customers.
- Understand IE Customs processes.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with compliance rules and regulations.
- Continuously review and improve work processes.
- Ensure all entries that have the necessary data are cleared on the day of arrival.
Requirements

- Customs qualifications would be very beneficial
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
- Focused and result driven
- Able to quickly integrate in a team environment
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and delegate tasks appropriately
