Receptionist – Insurance Agency

Office location – Altoona, PA

Local, Independent Insurance Agency is seeking an outgoing, detailed oriented and experienced Receptionist to join their team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Receptionist highly preferred
• Excellent customer service experience
• Strong computer knowledge and excellent typing skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and highly motivated
• Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
• Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• High School diploma or GED is required

Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound phone calls and emails and route them accordingly
• Complete outbound calls to and from current and prospective insurance customers
• Greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
• Directs guests to the appropriate point of contact
• General office duties (faxing, filing, copying, printing, mailing, taking payments,etc.)
• Maintain a neat and orderly desk and office appearance

Schedule and Compensation Overview:

• Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Salaried position based on experience plus annual bonus potential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
