Description:

A bit about your role

Working from our client’s sites, the Field Services Engineer will be primarily responsible for monitoring and responding to IT related issues as they arise within our client’s IT environment, and for building rapport and relationships within the client’s userbase and key stakeholders.

A core functionality of this position is the ability to troubleshoot, fix and remedy a wide range IT problems. It is all about taking the pain out of working in a technology driven environment by delivering timely, concise and cohesive solutions which reduces downtime and maximise workplace efficiencies.

You will manage incidents and service requests as a team to ensure service level agreements (SLA’s) are met.

The Field Services Engineer position is a key frontline position which involves professional, in-person delivery of IT support.

• You can provide suggestions in Change Request Management, Incident Management, Request Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management and Asset Management

Experience

• Degree or qualification in a Computer Science field
• Some professional IT experience in an operational enterprise NZ IT environment
• Relevant Microsoft desktop certifications beneficial
• Some experience working with IT professionals in a corporate NZ environment, including executive management, whilst conveying solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including the skilled use of Excel, Word, Reporting Tools (SQL reporting, Dashboards, Windows 10, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, meeting equipment, MS Teams, MS O365, Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience coping with stressful settings and adapting quickly to changing environments
• Experience working with teams and employing set team standards and improvement incentives

Please note that this role will be a permanent position and that you must have full New Zealand work rights. This role will also involve travel to Rotorua, Hamilton and at times in Taupo area.
