Working as part of the development team, this role will see you assist in the analysis and documentation of business requirements, support and resolve production issues and design, develop and test software. You will also conform to defined software engineering and configuration management practices and contribute to ongoing process improvement activities.

You will possess the following skills and attributes to be successful in this role:

• A strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Tomcat, Hibernate, SQL, Web Services and software design techniques.
• Proven ability to write documentation, interpret business requirements and the ability to translate these into software solutions.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder liaison skills and the ability to comprehend, document and understand business requirements. A comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, whilst demonstrating initiative and resilience in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Working knowledge of PL/SQL is highly desirable
