Delaware North Hiring for Reservation Agent, Buffalo Reservation Center at Amherst, New York Full Time

The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Reservation Agent to join our Buffalo Reservation Center team in Amherst, New York. Our Reservation Agents handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers who wish to make reservations at hotels and resorts around the country. A qualified candidate will meet our companies’ vision by delighting guests to create world-class experiences.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and provide good customer service.

• Identify customers’ needs and wants and use available resources to answer customer questions.

• Create reservations for customers and recognize opportunities to offer packages and additional services.

• Work with other departments to schedule special programs and events when required.

• Collaborate with managers to assist customers and reach sales goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call center preferred.

• Experience working in customer service or the hospitality industry is perferred.

• Strong ability to multi-task.

• Adaptable to different personality types.

• Comfortable using computers with strong typing skills.

• Able to utilize call center software and tools appropriately.

• Maintain a positive, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
