Dell Technologies is seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative Software Quality Assurance Engineer to drive the vision and execution of a new Enterprise Edge Initiative. As a Software QA Engineer in our new Edge innovation group, you will

• Accelerate the delivery and overall improve the quality of products by developing and executing test plans that ensure the best possible customer experience

• Have the passion of developing and supporting the growth of next-generation software architectures, show enthusiasm towards learning new technologies, and inspire innovation within the team

• Manage complex, cross-functional Program Increments, and Agile Deliveries

• Be comfortable discussing / explaining – technical decisions and trade-offs with Engineering and Management teams

• Work closely with cross-functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendors to formalize program and project testing requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (master’s degree preferred) or relevant experience

• At least 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, test automation, or related experience. Experience writing test cases in Golang, Java, or Python

• Experience building and executing automated scripts or experience with automation and performance tools e.g., Selenium/Web driver, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner

• Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and write test plans, create and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results. Experience with Atlassian’s suite of products (JIRA, Stash, Confluence, etc.)

Desirable Requirements ;

• Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus

• Knowledge of server, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI concepts is a plus
